BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Cushman & Wakefield / EGS Commercial Real Estate is pleased to announce the addition of retail brokerage veterans Casey Howard and Lacey Scott, marking a significant investment in the firm’s retail services platform and reinforcing its long-term strategy to expand retail brokerage capabilities across Alabama and the Southeast.
Howard joins the firm as Executive Managing Director – Retail, while Scott joins as Senior Vice President – Retail. Together, they bring more than 30 years of combined commercial real estate experience representing landlords, tenants, developers, and investors in retail and mixed-use leasing, investment sales, and strategic advisory services.

Howard brings nearly two decades of commercial real estate experience specializing in retail and mixed-use investment sales and leasing. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield / EGS, she served as Executive Vice President at Harbert Realty Services, where she was consistently recognized as a top producer and trusted advisor. Her expertise spans brokerage, asset management, operations, marketing, and development, across multiple asset classes, providing clients with strategic guidance across a wide range of commercial real estate assets.
Scott brings more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience focused on retail and mixed-use leasing, investment sales, and 1031 exchange transactions. She most recently served as Director of Leasing and Sales at Harbert Realty Services, specializing in landlord and tenant representation, as well as sales in the retail and restaurant sector. A former practicing attorney, Scott combines legal insight with extensive brokerage experience to help clients navigate complex transactions and develop long-term real estate strategies.
Howard holds an MBA from Georgia Southern University, bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Marketing from Cedarville University, and a PMP® designation from the Project Management Institute. Scott graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama and earned her Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.
