Bill Pradat has over 35 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and is considered one of the most accomplished tenant advisors in the state. In 2000, he joined Cushman & Wakefield / EGS Commercial Real Estate as a Partner, and now serves as Chairman of the firm. In this role, Bill guides the business development efforts of the firm and serves as an active member of the firm’s executive leadership team and office brokerage team. He specializes in representing office tenants, providing advisory services, financial analysis, and market expertise to his clients.
He also plays a key role within Cushman & Wakefield’s Alliance Program and serves as a member of the Alliance Executive Committee. He is also actively involved in Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory and Legal Sector Advisory Groups.
Bill’s previous experience includes responsibility for the marketing and leasing of a 1,654-acre, mixed-use commercial development in suburban Birmingham. He also served as Senior Vice President for Colonial Properties Trust, a New York Stock Exchange REIT, that was headquartered in Birmingham.
Bill has a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Samford University. Among his professional activities, he is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and has served as a National Board Member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). In addition, he is actively involved in the community and is currently a member of the Quarterbacking Children’s Health Foundation, Railroad Park Foundation’s Board of Directors, and University of Alabama President’s Cabinet. Other activities have included leadership roles with the Birmingham Kiwanis Club (President), the Monday Morning Quarterback Club (Captain), and the Emmett O’Neal Library Foundation Board (Chair).
