Cushman & Wakefield / EGS Commercial Real Estate, Inc. is pleased to announce a new leadership structure to support the company’s strategic objectives for future growth. Effective October 2021, Mark Byers has been named President of Cushman & Wakefield / EGS. He succeeds Bill Pradat as President, who will assume the role as Chairman of the firm. Byers will oversee all aspects of the company’s day-to-day business operations, provide leadership for the firm’s brokerage and property management departments, and remain an active member of the firm’s industrial brokerage team.

In his new role as Chairman, Pradat will guide business development efforts for the firm and remain an active member of the firm’s office brokerage team. He will also continue to serve on Cushman & Wakefield’s Alliance Executive Committee.

Byers is a member of the firm’s executive leadership team and currently serves as Executive Vice President. He specializes in industrial tenant representation and brokerage, industrial planning and development, and site selection. During his 34-year tenure at Cushman & Wakefield / EGS, he has been involved in numerous high-profile transactions and developments and represented clients with both a local and national presence. He has served as a Regional Director for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Supply Chain Solutions Group (GSCS).

Founded in 1987, Cushman & Wakefield / EGS will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2022. The firm recently completed a strategic planning initiative to develop a leadership succession plan, as well as a strategic growth plan for the benefit of its clients, investors and team members. The firm’s executive leadership team also includes Founder and Executive Chairman Marc Eason and Executive Vice President Brad Jones.
