Hunter Houston joined Cushman & Wakefield / EGS Commercial Real Estate in 2022 and is an active member of the firm’s leasing and brokerage team. He supports clients throughout all phases of the transaction cycle, working across multiple industries and property types, including office, industrial, and retail. Hunter also works closely with Cushman & Wakefield professionals across the U.S., providing local market expertise to national clients with real estate needs throughout Alabama.
Hunter brings a unique skill set to the team through his background in supply chain and transportation logistics. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield / EGS, he held several sales roles, most recently with Baggett Transportation, where he worked alongside senior supply chain executives and managed the company’s largest account, The Boeing Company. He previously served as a Sales Representative in the Packaging Division at Strickland Companies, delivering packaging solutions to distributors and manufacturers across the Southeast.
Hunter attended the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in Lexington, Virginia, where he played Division I basketball for the VMI Keydets. He is an avid sports fan and has coached various community basketball and football teams in Birmingham. Outside the office, Hunter enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, cheering on the Crimson Tide, and taking advantage of Birmingham’s vibrant restaurant scene and social events.
