Experience:

Deborah McGill joined EGS Commercial Real Estate, Inc. in 2008 as the Industrial Services representative.  Prior to joining EGS, Ms. McGill was the Executive Director of Jefferson County Economic and Industrial Development Authority (JCEIDA).  Her past experience includes developing the McCalla and Lakeshore Jefferson Metropolitan Park’s, as well as coordination and redevelopment of a Brownfield project for a 27-acre former steel manufacturing and processing site in downtown Birmingham, Alabama.  As Director of JCEIDA, she worked in securing the location facilities for Home Depot, OfficeMax, Decoma Modular Systems, Wachovia Bank Data Center, Plastipak Packaging, Southern Company and others.  During her tenure the Project Development Investment was approaching $1Billion and over 1,800 jobs were created.

Ms. McGill has a B.S. from Troy University, an M.A. from Auburn University at Montgomery and is a Certified Economic Developer.  She is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Economic Development Association of Alabama.
